Colin Charles has a talk accepted and will be presenting at the MySQL Meetup in Paris.
FOSDEM 2012 - February 4-5 2012 - Brussels, Belgium.
Sergey Petrunya will have two talks at FOSDEM in the MySQL DevRoom. MariaDB plans to be strong there with an appearance from Michael "Monty" Widenius and Colin Charles as well.

Monty Program often receives booth space as part of conference sponsorship deals. Often, the company donates this booth space to the wider MariaDB community. MariaDB community members are always encouraged to drive our booth efforts. Use the maria-discuss mailing list to let us know if you'd like to help out.
We strive to attend the conferences organized by projects that include MariaDB in their work. Thus we'd like to attend events like the Ubuntu Developer's Summit, Fedora's FUDcon, the various worlwide BSDcons, etc. If your project relies upon or includes MariaDB, be sure to reach out if you think our presence would be helpful to your developers and users.
